FERTILITY OPTIONS FOR SAME-SEX FEMALE COUPLES
Sperm Donor Insemination – Lesbian couples can utilize donor sperm to achieve pregnancy. Couples can either buy sperm from a sperm bank (Anonymous Donor) or ask a friend or relative to donate (Known Donor).
Reciprocal IVF – This option uses the eggs of one partner that are fertilized by donor sperm. The embryo is then implanted into the other partner, who acts as the gestational carrier of the pregnancy.
Donor IVF – This option uses both donor eggs and donor sperm, and the embryo is implanted into one partner.
FERTILITY OPTIONS FOR SAME-SEX MALE COUPLES
Gestational Carrier and IVF – Through IVF using donor eggs and sperm from one or both partners, the embryo is implanted into a gestational carrier.
