Meet Herman Rodriguez, IVF/Embryology Laboratory Supervisor


 

Herman Rodriguez is the IVF/Embryology Laboratory Supervisor at Rocky Mountain Fertility Center. Herman is responsible for the day to day activities in the lab and is onsite daily when IVF cycles are being performed. Herman Rodriguez obtained his MS degree in Reproductive Physiology in 1994 and immediately accepted a position in the rapidly emerging field of human IVF. This was at the advent of intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI); few embryologists today have the practiced hands and extensive experience of Herman Rodriguez. Herman has over 20 years’ experience with IVF. His is career has focused on emerging IVF technologies, that complement proven laboratory practices. He has had many national and international opportunities working with leaders in IVF and embryology, expanding his scientific knowledge and capabilities. This national and international experience and his vision positions him to lead the premier infertility treatment team at Rocky Mountain Fertility Center. His specific areas of interest are optimizing embryo culture for better outcomes, and perfecting micromanipulation in delicate embryo biopsy procedures.

Herman Rodriguez is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). He is board certified by American Association of Bioanalysts as a Technical Supervisor (TS) in the field of Embryology, an Embryology Associate (EA) with the American College of Embryology. He is a Charter Member of the AAB College of Reproductive Biology, and a member of the Society of Reproductive Biologists & Technologists.
